I have read these letters written here, with a feeling of fear and anxiety. I was opened in England but moved to Scotland for 25yrs. and then to Indonesia for another 20yrs. or so. I am quite an old member but I remember Anugraha and the congress which was held there. This was in the days it was being finalized to be the UK’s home for the Latihan . I knew of it’s demise but had no idea of the details or the events outlined in the letters. I was also involved in a Scottish project in which this millionaire was playing a pivotal role. The project also failed for no other reason than the self-interest of the money lenders, but it I don’t think it was anywhere near the insane events at Anugraha. All I can say is that Subud comes from Almighty God but the material counterpart is what we do ourselves. No good criticizing Subud for not being Subud. We should never rely on rich people, but do things as a group.
